HBO Max raised a new miniseries with the beautiful Elizabeth Olsen as the protagonist and antagonist in the series Love & Death .

This April 27 we will be able to have our first impressions of this new production where the actress who played the scarlet witch for Marvel will put aside her superpowers and become a villain.

Everything starts normal, this woman did what was her duty, she was a good wife, she did all her chores as a housewife. She until one day she gets fed up with how she is leading her boring life and then she meets a man in church that she likes a lot.

Our protagonist proposes to have an adventure and from there the series begins, showing us this character who is looking for something more with his life. However, she would be known historically as Candy Montgomery the Ax Murderer.

This miniseries, like Dhamer is a real life series, although Candy is not a serial killer, she does show signs of mental problems over and over again, showing patterns that make her behavior change significantly.

The inspiration of the series
The whole real life case follows the life of Candy Montgomery, who was having an affair with Allan Gore whom she met at church and became friends with his wife. The day would be a Friday June 13, 1980 when Betty (Allan's wife) would be found dead, her husband was out of town.
The local officers after conducting all the investigations found that Betty would have suffered at least 41 lashes from an axe. All the evidence led directly to Candy being accused of killing Betty; Candy's argument was that it was all in her own defense because Betty would find out about her husband's affair. The most impressive thing about the scandal is that Candy was subjected to polygraph tests and was acquitted.
However, this did not prevent a large number of people from calling her a murderer and Candy received all kinds of comments from all the townspeople. We will have to see how they are handled in the mini series to recreate this impressive story.
