The final installment of James Gunn‘s Marvel Studios trilogy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, serves as its conclusion. A recent Instagram conversation raises the possibility that Rocket Raccoon will also die in the movie. 


James Gunn previously revealed how one of the brand-new posters for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was made in an Instagram post. A young Rocket Raccoon is depicted in the ad in front of a chalkboard, prompting many fans to bemoan the possibility of his demise in the movie in the comments section. When someone asked for Rocket to leave for another planet, Gunn answered with a string of cryptic remarks, stating that “that’s not how stories work.” The following interactions are depicted:


Many believe Rocket Raccoon’s death in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be confirmed by the second comment that sending him off world is not how stories work. Gunn is probably talking about the possibility of sending someone temporarily off the planet at the conclusion of their story, though. Stories have outcomes, and frequently the finest and worst portions of those outcomes are what elicit the strongest emotions. Fans may be confident that Rocket’s journey will come to a heartfelt and true-to-his-character conclusion even though they are unsure if he will pass away in the movie.
